I actually started my miniature art earlier this year’s show and was influenced by one of the panels in last year’s zines. I really liked the center bird image in “This Land is Your Land” zine so I wanted to expand the concept in Mystic Bird. The maze and bird art work is the "sample” for book. This was created in acrylic markers.

The second book was inspired by a video on YouTube that showed up in my feed. I watch a lot of art, crafts, DIY, etc videos and I caught one about “The Garment” by Robert Cole @heftandsplendor. It totally inspired me to draw a story about The Garment and his travels to meet like-minded others. The book was hand stitched together with watercolor pages.
