Mini Zines for the Nola ‘Nacular Annual Miniatures Show 2025

This was a fun project but it was a push to get these done.

I was recovering from hand surgery. (More in my blog.) These zines will be at and for sale at the Annual Miniatures Show starting October 4th through the end of the month at:

Nola ‘Nacular Art Gallery, 1172 Magazine St., New Orleans, LA 70130

Please visit the my cousin’s awesome gallery and see the fantastic art that will be there. Every year, fantastic artists participate to show off and sell their work. These zines took 2 weeks to finish and I quite love them.

The videos are in my blog.

I had an idea of what I wanted to do for the first zine but for the second one - it evolved during these crazy times.

Zine 1976 was inspired by a poem in a book the my sister gave me years and years ago when I was a kid. She’s 9 years older than I and she gifted me with the 1976 Yearbook of Contemporary Poetry when I was 12 or so. As I read through it, like her, I made notes in the margins and tabbed my favorites. The zine has 3 poems featured from the book filled with collage, mixed media art, and some of my photos.

Zine This Land, Punk’d is a call to arms to protect our important and vital public lands. I love visiting our national parks and being in nature. If you like breathing, eating, and living - you need to protect our natural resources.

Just a reminder that I have a Patreon: Gift tier $1 per month, Coffee tier $5 per month for digital art lovers, and Latte tier $10 per month for digital downloads and 2 prints. Check out my Patreon at www.Patreon.com/GemmaGeluzDesigns.com.

Here’s my Etsy shop: www.gemmageluz.etsy.com. And check out my book on Amazon!
